92. Damflask Resevoir peak district walk

92. Damflask Resevoir 4th January 2015.

Parking at Lower Bradfield close to the post office we headed south east down Lamb Hill Lane then turning right over the bridge and straight up School Lane then left up new road. A ladder stile on the right took us up to another ladder stile across another field then left onto Oaks Lane which joins New Road in the dip. A path on the right took us up through the woods crossing the road then onto Dungworth which lived up to its name, muck spreading season? The Royal Hotel offered liquid refreshment and a good chat about walks and the surrounding area with the landlord and a cider swilling mountain biker. Back down the road to Dungworth Green on the right down past the line of houses then just past the house on the corner taking the path just after the house. Following the path round and up Stacey Lane to the lively Nags Head. Heading towards the reservoir and along the waters edge to the sailing club where we had our sandwiches. A busy walk along the reservoir path jogger, buggy and doggy doo dodging all the way home!
