56. Abbey Green . 18th May 2014.

Parking at a layby on the corner west from Meerbrook , passing Upper Haddon. Heading south east on a path then the road at Fould continuing south to Abbey Green and the Abbey Inn where we enjoyed our cool drinks on the verander. From there we picked up the Staffordshire Moorlands Trail heading North east then took the path north over Black Hills Wood meeting a road which we followed north east a short way then taking the path on the left just before the end of the farm buildings, Folly Rest farm. We took the path north west up to the main road then west back to the car but deciding there was time to hike up to Gun trigpoint.
