36. Wildboar Clough 22nd December 2013

Parking at Clough House heading south past Shutlingsloe farm with the hill of the same name ( no not Shutlingsloe Farm Hill!)loomed above us. We arrived at the Crag Inn sooner than expected but fortunately it was open from 10:30am and enjoyed our drinks surrounded by all the Christmas decorations. Across the road and a path up close to Crag Hall. Over the A54 and around Cutthorn hill to Three Shires Heads joining Cheshire, Derbyshire and Staffordshire counties on Axe Edge Moor. A route popular with trail bikes and a good spot for a lunchbreak. After a short way we veered off left north west and over the A54 again then west and back to Clough House.
