Dry and no hats required, from our house again over to Taxal, down by the river Goyt another walk that we’d taken the kids on a few times but this time veering up to the Shady Oak on Long Hill for a pint of the black stuff and a nice cup of tea, pattern forming!? Julie wanted to take me on the bridge but I cordially declined as it was a bit nippy… until I realised she meant take a photo of me on the bridge! He! He! The Shady Oak was very welcoming, a nice comfy settee to rest our weary legs, we’d only gone 2 miles if that! Lightweights!
