10. Teggs Nose Country Park 6th April 2013

It was a bit damp as we parked up in the visitors centre car park. It was quite busy, people milling around, families out for a walk on the well trodden paths around the top of the hill. The views were good from the peak overlooking the reservoirs down in the valley. Quite steep on the way down ( mind yer knee Julie!). We skirted the reservoir and headed towards the Leathers Smithy pub which made a 'stick shape' on our otherwise nicely shaped circular walk. We had our drinks outside in the sunshine where there was plenty of seating. Refreshed by our drinks we made a way back to the reservoirs and followed the steep narrow track up to the visitors centre and back to the car.
